1. Description
This layer provides support for reading EPUB-formatted eBooks in Spacemacs using the excellent nov.el package.
1.1. Features:
- Basic navigation (jump to TOC, previous/next chapter)
- Remembering and restoring the last read position
- Jump to next chapter when scrolling beyond end
- Renders EPUB2 (.ncx) and EPUB3 (<nav>) TOCs
- Hyperlinks to internal and external targets
- Supports textual and image documents
- View source of document files
- Metadata display
- Image rescaling
2. Install
To use this configuration layer, add it to your ~/.spacemacs. You will need to
add epub to the existing dotspacemacs-configuration-layers list in this
file.
